At THEBYK.COM, we’re confident you’ll love your new ride. But if for any reason you don’t, no worries , our free 30-day return policy has you covered. That’s right: we offer a full refund on your bike, and we’ll even arrange a doorstep pickup at no extra cost.

All we ask is that you keep the original box and packaging and follow our simple terms and conditions.

Free Bike Return Terms & Conditions — THEBYK.COM

Our Free 30-Day Bike Return applies to all bikes purchased from THEBYK.COM and begins the day your order is delivered. If you decide to return your bike, simply notify us within 30 calendar days of delivery.

You’re welcome to unpack and assemble your bike to check sizing and ensure everything fits your needs. However, please do not take the bike for a test ride, as any signs of use or wear may affect your eligibility for a full refund. Bikes returned in less-than-like-new condition may incur a minimum restocking fee of $50, or in some cases, may no longer qualify for a refund. (See examples below.)

If your bike arrives damaged, please report this right away. Take clear photos of the damage and send them to us through our contact form so we can assist you promptly.

When returning your bike, it must be securely repacked in the original box and packaging, including all components, wheels, and accessories. Please keep all packaging materials until you’re certain you won’t be returning your bike.


Pickup & Packaging Requirements

You must be present on the scheduled pickup day to hand the packaged bike to the courier.

If a pickup attempt fails because the bike was not ready, a re-booking fee will be charged. We can arrange another pickup on your behalf, but any additional costs will be deducted from your refund.

Damage caused by misuse, improper assembly, or policy abuse—such as stripped pedal threads, dirt on tires, frame scratches, drivetrain wear, or any similar issues—will be charged at full retail value. (See examples below.)

If the bike is damaged during return transit due to insufficient packaging, we reserve the right to charge for the replacement of the affected parts. Please refer to our packing guide to ensure proper protection.


Refund Process

Once your bike arrives back at our facility, one of our mechanics will perform a full inspection. This process may take up to 5 business days.

Refunds are issued after the bike has been approved by our team. If there are any issues or policy violations found during inspection, we’ll contact you with details and any applicable fees.

Please note:

  • Some banks may take up to 10 business days to complete the refund after it has been issued.

  • Refunds apply to the bike only. Original shipping costs are not refundable.

  • Return shipping within our 30-day policy is completely free.


What May Result in a Restocking Fee

  • Scuffs, scratches, or noticeable wear on the frame or components

  • Excessive drivetrain wear

  • Evidence of riding in wet or adverse conditions

  • Frame or component damage

  • Bikes packed incorrectly or without sufficient protection

  • Damage caused during return shipping due to poor packaging

What if you decide to keep your bike?

Great! Just keep on riding. After the 30-day return window, your bike remains covered under our THEBYK.COM consumer guarantee.

What if your bike arrives damaged?

If your bike was damaged during transit, take photos of the damage and send them to us via our contact form so we can resolve the issue quickly.

What if your bike has an issue out of the box?

We’re here to help. Contact us with:

  • A brief description of the issue

  • Your order or invoice number

  • Photos or videos showing the problem (if possible)

Our team will get to work right away to get you back on the road or trail as soon as possible.

Do I get a refund for the initial shipping cost?

Return shipping is free within the 30-day period; however, initial shipping charges are non-refundable.

How is the bike picked up?

We’ll arrange a free pickup of your properly packaged bike. We’ll schedule a pickup time with you, and you’ll need to be present to hand the bike to our courier. We recommend calling the carrier on the morning of the pickup for an estimated arrival time.

What about accessories?

Unused accessories follow our standard Return & Exchange Policy.

When will I get my refund?

Refunds are processed after your bike passes inspection by our mechanics. You’ll be notified once the refund is issued.
